The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is more powerful. It is alive and quick. It will divide between your soul and your spirit. Going to the Word is what tells you what is coming out of your head and what is coming out of your heart. Going to the Word of God is what tells you the difference between the soulish mess out there.
Jesus said in the last days to take heed and be watchful that you be not deceived. He warned, “There will be many coming in My Name. Some will say, ‘I’m anointed. I’m anointed. I’m this and that,’ and it will look good. There will be signs and wonders that are lying. Lying wonders.”
Signs and wonders are all around you. Signs are the displaying billboards of the cosmic. Signs painted in the skies, in the heavens—signs above. The wonders are the things God does on this earth that you can see and watch—things that if you will be perceptive, you can recognize and watch. But how easy it is to be drawn away. For what you didn’t realize, for decades past, the art and entertainment industry has been teaching and training your thinking to look for spectacular demonstrations in the name of other gods and it has trained your thinking to look for God only in those ways.
The Lord is saying, “I am displaying Myself in ways that are far more eternal than what you have been looking for and asking for. Begin by faith and My Word will point it out to you. Begin by faith to look for and to ask Me to help you recognize and know Me as I am moving in the earth today. I am moving in so many ways, even moving among you, doing things—changing things, rearranging things and orchestrating things.
The Enemy’s Camp
I am even working in the enemy’s camp, causing so much activity that they are unaware of. Some of that activity will awaken some of them to see Me, know Me and want out of that camp as fast as possible. Some of them will see things in the skies above and it will alert them, alarm them and they will run, looking for help. Others will run deeper into the darkness they are in.
Also, My presence causes confusion among those who do not embrace Me. The scripture says that My presence hardened Pharaoh’s heart. It is never My intent to harden anyone’s heart. But there are some that My very presence makes them grind their teeth and become harder towards Me. When they do that, I will use them just that way. I will use them just that way.
Seek Me
But be still. Be quiet and understand My ways. Understand My direction. Understand.
Seek to understand Me. Seek to know Me. Seek to know My ways. Seek to know My thoughts.
I have said to you in Isaiah, even to the wicked, ‘Your thoughts are not My thoughts. Your ways are not My ways.’ So, My Word goes forth out of My mouth. Why? So that you can know My thoughts and know My ways. And just like water that comes down from the heavens, just the snow that spreads and melts, even so is the Word that goes forth out of My mouth. It will not return to Me unproductive and unfruitful. Never has. Never will.
So when you know My ways and know My thoughts and then you speak My Words, it will be as productive for you as it is for Me. It will be as productive for you as it was for Jesus in His earthly ministry. It will be productive for you. It will change nature. It will change nations. It will change your circumstances.
Watching with the Eye of Faith
Watch. Watch. Again, I say, ‘Watch!’ How do you watch? With the eye of faith. How do you watch? Not by analyzing with your mind, but by weighing things out in your heart, praying in other tongues. Be watching, listening and looking for the move of the Spirit—the move of the Spirit within, as well as the move of the Spirit upon.”
