Coming to church, in part, is a lot of learning by experience, not just learning by being told something. Brother Hagin said, “Pray in the Spirit or sing in the Spirit, till you get in the Spirit.”
So, when you find that you can’t do that for more than 20 seconds and you start drawing back, that shows that you haven’t pressed into anything. You haven’t pressed past your flesh that says, “Ok, that’s enough.” Your flesh will always say right away, “That’s enough of that. I don’t want any more of that!” because the flesh wants to be the one that gets to say, “Yes” and “No,” and “Stop” and “Go.” But this is My time, saith the Lord. It’s a time when I should be able to say, “This and that. Not there or then.” And yet I leave the choice up to you.
So, what shall it be? Will you sing? Will you praise? Will you press at the leading of the Spirit? Or will you just draw back and say, “That’s enough of that, let’s move on.”
